📅 How is the weekly chart ranked?

Songs are ranked by total plays and streams over the past 7 days. The chart refreshes every Friday, so a song at #1 today may drop next week if it loses momentum.

⏱️ When does the weekly chart reset?

The chart window resets every Friday at midnight. Only songs added within the last 7 days are eligible — older tracks drop off automatically even if they were huge hits.

🏆 What's the difference between this and the daily chart?

The daily chart shows everything new in the last 24 hours. This weekly chart aggregates 7 days of activity, so it reflects which songs actually stuck with listeners — not just what dropped today.

🎵 Are these songs free to stream?

Yes — every track on this weekly chart is 100% free to stream. No subscription, no sign-up, no hidden fees.

🎤 How does a song get onto the weekly chart?

Any Afrobeats, Amapiano, Gospel, or Hausa track added to Africapickup within the last 7 days is automatically eligible. Ranking is driven purely by listener plays and streams — no editorial picks.
