I came across it on YouTube, and what caught my eye immediately was that he features one of Africa’s greatest musical voices, Mr Zambia, Chile One, on the track “Iwe Naine.” That collaboration alone made me press play, and once I did, the whole EP pulled me in. It is not often that you see a project where the guest list feels this deliberate. Each feature brings something distinct, and the result is an EP that feels like a conversation between artists rather than a solo showcase.
T-Low is a Zambian singer and songwriter known for redefining Afrobeat and Afropop with a fusion of retro soul, indie, electronic, and jazz influences. He has been active in the Zambian music industry for over a decade, and his recent success includes the single “Balekana” featuring Yo Maps. Again & Again builds on that foundation, arriving as a 7-track EP released on April 4, 2025, through T Low Baddest.
The project’s guest list is notable: Xaven, Chile One, Vinchenzo, Jemax, Tio Nason, Mumba Yachi, and Chef 187 . That is a cross-section of Zambian music’s current landscape, spanning R&B, hip-hop, and Afropop. The collaborations are not decorative. Each guest brings a distinct texture, and the result is an EP that feels like a conversation between artists rather than a solo showcase.
The tracklist runs seven songs deep: “Ndimu Loose” featuring Xaven, “Iwe Naine” featuring Chile One, “Icilaka” featuring Vinchenzo, “Nanaka” featuring Jemax, “Elina” featuring Tio Nason, “Tuliya (Calm Down),” and “Ba Mebo” featuring Chef 187 and Mumba Yachi . Production credits include Saint Giaco, Dre Beatz, Kofi Mix, Mr Puta Tulale, Smoking Igloo, and Naris’xm, with mixing handled by Dizzy from Soundcode Music on at least one track .
The standout track — and the one that drew me in — is “Iwe Naine.” The song features Chile One MrZambia, one of Zambia’s most beloved vocalists and the founder of 44G Entertainment . The collaboration delivers a powerful message of unwavering love and commitment. T-Low described the track as more than just music, calling it a celebration of love and togetherness inspired by his wedding ceremony .
The blend of T-Low’s vocals and Chile One’s harmonies creates a timeless ballad that resonates with anyone who understands the power of loyalty .
In a statement about the EP, T-Low framed it as “a moment with those who appreciate art, a chance to meet faces we rarely cross paths with, and a time to share a drink with everyone out there grinding and winning.”
He also acknowledged the tension between going mainstream and maintaining artistic rawness: “Going mainstream can easily water down an artist’s rawness, but I pray for humility as we unlock a new level.” That awareness — the understanding that growth can dilute identity — is what gives Again & Again its weight.
Worth listening? Yes, if you appreciate Zambian R&B that values collaboration and emotional range. No, if you are looking for a single-artist showcase with no features.
