Eagle One is the highly anticipated second studio album from Zambian Afro-pop sensation Chile One Mr Zambia, marking a triumphant new chapter in his meteoric rise to stardom. Known for his distinctive voice and ability to craft heartfelt lyrics that resonate across generations, Chile One—born Obed Chileshe—has quickly become one of the most followed artists in the Zambian music industry despite only emerging onto the scene a few years ago . With this project, he delivers a powerful body of work that explores love, heartbreak, motivation, and self-belief, cementing his status as a leading force in the country's vibrant music landscape .
Released on July 12, 2025 under his own 44G Music Entertainment label, the 12-track album follows the success of his debut project Boy From Chilanda and arrives as a statement of artistic growth and ambition . The album has already made a significant impact, amassing over 6 million views on YouTube and more than 500,000 streams on Spotify since its release . Speaking ahead of the release, Chile One declared: "I hereby declare henceforth another title to my catalogue, Eagle One The Album", signalling the project's importance in his artistic journey .
The title track itself stands as a powerful anthem promoting self-belief, confidence, and standing out from the crowd, embodying the album's overarching theme of soaring to new heights . From the emotional resonance of "Remember Me," already the album's most streamed song, to the infectious energy of the club-ready "Tekantemba," Chile One demonstrates a rare ability to connect with listeners on multiple emotional levels .
What makes Eagle One particularly compelling is its emotional range. "Tafyakapwe" explores a broken relationship where one partner refuses to give up, while "Company Ni Company" delivers the authentic Chile One energy after the phrase was popularized by his fans . The album closes with "Back Again," a dancehall track that, despite being positioned last, was actually a leading single and proves its quality as an impactful closing statement .
With Eagle One, Chile One Mr Zambia delivers a powerful statement that cements his place as one of the most exciting voices in the Zambian music scene. It is a celebration of growth, resilience, and the enduring power of music to inspire, heal, and unite.
