Musical Career Udegbi is a master of Egwu Ekpili, a traditional Igbo mask dance music style known for its deep proverbs and storytelling. His breakthrough came with the album "Ibalu Mmanwu", produced at Akpamma Studios in Awka, which featured hits like "Nwanne Malu Nwanneya" and "Ndi Ji Ego Achu Ego".
His music is characterized by powerful vocals, poetic lyrics, and extensive use of Igbo proverbs, addressing themes of perseverance, resilience, and cultural heritage. Popular tracks include "Fa Zona", "Indian Money", "Amulu Onye Na Ego", and "Ndi Grand Masters Club N'a Gabon".
Achievements and Impact Despite being visually impaired, Chief Udegbi has remained one of the top three Egwu Ekpili singers in the region. He owns Udegbi Records and has released over 23 albums, with a significant digital presence including 1.55 million total plays and over 53,000 followers on Audiomack. His work is praised for preserving Igbo language, culture, and musical traditions for future generations.
